The winners of the first annual Technology Innovation Award: Digital Makeoverwere announced in front of 400+ guests at the Inaugural DFW Digital Ball fundraising gala at Dallas Market Center. The 2012 grand-prize winner is LifeNet (http://www.lifenettexas.org), an organization that helps individuals with mental illness, chemical dependency, permanent supportive housing and supported employment. Kaufman County Animal Awareness Project (http://www.spayneuternet.org), a volunteer nonprofit organization that seeks to eliminate the needless death and suffering of companion animals in Kaufman County, Dallas and the surrounding areas of Texas, received the runner-up prize.
Aidmatrix takes great pride in this worthy cause of honoring local Texas nonprofits and the Technology Innovation Award is a noteworthy element of the DFW Digital Ball evening. Aidmatrix was honored to receive so many qualified applications for the Award’s Inaugural year, and the two winning organizations were selected by a panel of judges consisting of technology executives from some of DFW’s largest Fortune 500 companies. The winning organizations received in-kind Aidmatrix/NPower Texas technology services and software designed to more efficiently serve clients and manage business operations.
As the grand-prize winner, LifeNet will receive a website makeover to help expand its reach in the community. The makeover can include a new website/website redesign, a website upgrade to HTML5, web mobile enablement, website socialization, or a stable & secure assessment. LifeNet will also receive software valued at up to $25,000 and implementation services valued at up to $10,000 – a grand prize valued at more than $50,000.

Kaufman County Animal Awareness Project was the runner-up prize recipient for the Technology Innovation Award. As runner-up, KCAAP will receive an installation of the Aidmatrix Online Event Management Module, which helps effectively manage fundraising events via a single online tool.
